Open Access Content: What it is and where to find it
Last Updated: Apr 24, 2023 Views: 121

Open access content is material that is available to the public for free. The library includes these resources in our list of digital resource collections because these collections are useful for students.

You can find open access content in the following ways:

  1. In Page 1+, when viewing search results, under "Refine your results" - Availability, select "Open Access" to see only results that are available for free online without signing in to the library.
  2. Click on the Databases A-Z button found on the Library website and choose the Freely Accessible option from the Database Types drop down menu. Choose a digital resource collection and click to open the collection. Conduct a search with your search terms within the collection. Use the collection’s search limiters to filter your search.
