Online dictionaries/encyclopedias: Where to find resources using library tools
Last Updated: May 17, 2023 Views: 79

You can find online encyclopedias and dictionaries in the digital resource collections.

  1. Open the list of Databases A-Z from the Library website and change the database type to Encyclopedias & Dictionaries.
  2. Choose a digital resource collection. Read the description for the collection. Some collections contain only definitions and encyclopedia entries, but most contain other types of resources as well. Click to open the collection.
  3. If the collection contains other resource types, navigate to the section that contains definitions and encyclopedia entries.
  4. Conduct a search with your search terms within the collection.

Note: A current College Network Account is required for off-campus searching.
