APA: Creating a reference page
Last Updated: Jul 17, 2020 Views: 402

In APA style, at the end of your paper, it is important to include any sources used for your paper in a list of references. The sources included in this list must match the sources in your in-text citations.

The following sources will help teach you how to create an APA Style Reference Page:

  • Visit the Citing and Referencing Sources guide for APA resources. This includes the APA Style Manual (ACOV APA Style Manual 2020) and links to APA tutorials and citation guides.
  • Check out Module 5: Creating an APA Reference Page in the Citing and Referencing Sources guide. This interactive online activity will show you how to format a Reference List in APA style. It will also demonstrate how to cite various sources including books, journal articles, and websites, as well as how to cite multiple authors.
  • Attend the APA Citation Style pt. 2. The Reference list workshop in the Library Learning Lab. This workshop will demonstrate how to format a Reference List according to the APA Style rules and provide hands-on experience creating references for different types of sources.

For additional tips and information on citing your sources, visit the How To Cite module in The Learning Portal.
