New users: Logging in to LinkedIn Learning for the first time

The first time you log in to LinkedIn Learning, you must follow some steps to activate your new LinkedIn Learning account.

To log in to LinkedIn Learning:

  1. Open LinkedIn Learning.
  2. Click Sign in and then click Sign in with your organization account.
  3. Enter your Algonquin College email address and click Continue.
  4. Log in with your Algonquin College email and password.
  5. Choose whether you want to connect using a regular LinkedIn account (new or existing) or create a separate LinkedIn Learning account without connecting your LinkedIn account.
  6. Follow the instructions below for the option you chose.

Option 1: Connect your LinkedIn account.

  1. If you have an existing LinkedIn account, log in and accept the privacy policy.
  2. If you do not have an existing LinkedIn account, create one using the following process:
    1. Click Join now below the log in box.
    2. Complete the form and click Agree & Join.
    3. Enter the code that was sent to your email address.
  3. Select skills that interested you. You now have access to LinkedIn Learning and can begin browsing the courses.
  4. The next time you access LinkedIn Learning, open it from the list of Library Digital Resource Collections, enter your Algonquin College email address and follow the instructions on screen.

Option 2: Create a separate LinkedIn Learning account.

  1. Enter your Algonquin College email address and click Send verification code.
  2. Enter the verification code that was sent to your email and click Verify code.
  3. Create a new password and click Create.
  4. Select skills that interested you. You now have access to LinkedIn Learning, and can begin browsing the courses. You now have access to LinkedIn Learning, and can begin browsing the courses.
  5. The next time you access LinkedIn Learning, open it from the list of Library Digital Resource Collections, enter your Algonquin College email address, and follow the instructions on screen.
