Ereaders: Compatible ebooks for your device
Last Updated: Jul 25, 2019 Views: 81

Many of the ebooks available through the library permit you to download the ebook onto your devices. Check the type of ebook to see if it can be viewed on your device.

Types of ebooks:

  • Downloaded as PDFs: These files can be read on most e-readers, including Kindles, iPads, Nooks, Sony Readers, and Kobos.
  • Downloaded and “Borrowed”: Some ebooks can only be downloaded and accessed for a specific borrowing period. These ebooks must be viewed using free Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software. Devices such as Sony Readers, Nooks, and Kobos will work with ADE.
