Refunds: Do I get a refund if I withdraw?
Last Updated: Jul 29, 2025 Views: 2

When you withdraw from a program, whether you receive a refund can depend on whether you withdraw before the refund deadline. This last day to withdraw with a refund can be found on the academic calendar, and it is typically the 10th business day of the term. See more details below.

Withdrawing before the deadline

If you officially withdraw within 10 business days from the start date of your program, you are entitled to a refund of fees paid less the $500.00 non-refundable tuition deposit (for domestic students). For international students, please see the international student refund policy for more information about deposits and other fees.

If the College has received any OSAP payments, the remaining credit (less the $500.00 non-refundable tuition deposit) will be returned to the National Student Loans Service Centre.

Tip: In many cases, you can use the $500 deposit towards another program or course within the same academic year.

Withdrawing after the deadline

If you officially withdraw after 10 business days from the start date of your program or change to part-time status, no refund will be issued, and you will still be liable for payment of any outstanding fees owing to the College.

For more information, see the Registrar’s Office Refund Policies.
