Withdrawal form access: There is an error message when you open the withdrawal or transfer form
Last Updated: Aug 21, 2025 Views: 0

When you open the form from your email, you may see an error message such as "Access Denied."

This error message usually appears when you are logged in to another Microsoft account in the same browser. This can include a Hotmail account, Outlook, live.ca, etc.

To fix the access error:

  1. Copy the URL for the form from your email message.
  2. Right-click on the icon for your browser in the taskbar.
  3. Open a new private window. This could also be called an Incognito window if you're using Chrome.
  4. Paste the URL into the address bar in the new window. You should now see the login screen. You can log in with your Algonquin email and password to access the form

See example below:

Note: If you are still not able to open the form, try to open the form in an entirely different browser. For example, if you have tried to access the form in Chrome, try Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

If you continue to have technical problems accessing the form, contact ITS for assistance.
